ORLANDO - Well, the teams are in Disney World. They are working hard and learning new plays as this Saturday (3 p.m. EST, ESPNU) will watch some of the best high school senior football players on display for the entire country to see.
While we understand that there are three national games that will feature elite football talent, we challenge you to check out the roster for the first ever East Meets West All-Star game and see how many impressive stars will be in action.
?Florida, Miami, Texas, Nebraska, Michigan - take your pick of colleges that these elite players will be headed,? said Recruiting Analyst Charles Fishbein of MSL Sports. ?We have some impressive football players in this game that will not only make a mark at the collegiate level, but we will hear about plenty of them in the National Football League.?
Fishbein, along with the entire MSL team, has been responsible for getting all this talent on one field. So many gifted athletes that we had to take a few key eastern players and hand them off to the west to give this game a true balance of talent.
?I think by Saturday night, when everything is completed, this will be the game people will talk about the most,? said MSL Partner and game organizer Chuck Muncie. ?We have some key people within our organization that went out and got the best football talent in the nation.?
As you will see from the roster below that this game will feature a number of top 50 national players, which for the first year of this event, is impressive to say the least.
?We tried to get some other kids over the final weekend before practice began,? said Fishbein. ?But most had already committed to other games. You can mark it down that next year we will pledge to our game first. Word will get out what a great time the kids had. They will be coached by some of the best this game has to offer.?
